Week 1: Strength & flexibility testing and prescription for the Lower Body & Core (2 days)

Content:
  • Efficient methods to assess your clients' flexibility
  • Flexibility prescription - how to choose the appropriate type of stretching
  • How to perform different stretches for each muscle group
  • Strength testing & ratios
  • Optimal training methods for each muscle group
  • Strength training programming for the general preparation phase
  • Sample workouts to fix imbalances
  • Exercise progressions
  • Concepts in periodization
  • Short-term periodization for the general preparation phase and for general strength
Weeks 2: Strength & flexibility testing and prescription for the Upper Body (2 days)

    About Rachel

    Rachel is a certified Total Body Active Release Techniques Provider (ART), Remedial Massage Therapist, ASCA Strength and Conditioning Coach, Workplace Training & Education Assessor and Personal Trainer at the Boutagy Fitness Institute in Cremorne NSW.

    Rachel Luff has studied closely under one of the country's most successful and influential strength coaches, Tony Boutagy and operates her business out of the Boutagy Fitness Institute. The centre was founded by Tony Boutagy and is regarded as the best equipped strength training facility in Australia, as well as the leading education and training facility for personal trainers.

    Rachel has completed a Bachelor of Science in Holistic Nutrition from Clayton College of Natural Health, is currently undertaking a Sports Science degree through the University of New England and runs courses for personal trainers. 

    Rachel is a registered and fully insured member of Fitness Australia and ATMS (Australian Traditional Medicine Society).
